Search Engines have now become household names. The big players can fairly easily be seen as Google.com, MSN.com, Yahoo.com. Ask.com (or the country specific versions of such) with lesser players and portals such as AltaVista.com, AllTheWeb.com, Hotbot.com, AOL.com (Google search) and Lycos.com accounting for much of the remaining search engine traffic thoughout the English speaking world.
