  • A. Shelf condition - probably never read. Corner bumps, perhaps, but little more. Recent edition
  • B. Good condition readers - our standard grade. 1960s editions onwards - containing little more than previous owner's name, spine creases and a few pencil notes
  • C. Generally scrappier copies. Well read and, perhaps, more than a couple of annotations
